Sælzer Bub Amazing melodic death doom. Sometimes it's rough and heavy (The Pain Of Hope, Don't Fear The Fading Light) but on the other hand it's slow and depressive (A Looming Shadow, When Mourning Comes).
This album will take you on a deep journey through your fears and losses. A second to none masterpiece. Favorite track: Don't Fear the Fading Light.

hatbanger_ollie Very nice midweek death doom discovery, this one-man-band from the US! This is the true quality death doom stuff, I might buy the entire discography 🖤 Favorite track: The Pain of Hope.

Funeral Fog Ian's most mature and diverse album to date. His first album doing all mixing and mastering, was an absolute honor to be asked how it sounded, before the release. I've always called his style graveyard-doom, he's proven that remark correct here. The sound quality is astounding and lushly emotional. Atmospheric and melancholic throughout, he's proved his talent is without a doubt, a force to be acknowledged! Favorite track: When Mourning Comes.

Death Deaths near Tonight Resist The light The dark Writhes The pain I feel Hopeless in time The nurses all in white Wait on you through the night Sirens and the light Agony to my mind Rest easy now my love Please don't go into the light Listen to my voice Please don't go into the dark Just rest now my heart Calm, collect, avoidant of neglect My eyes sting and burn Tears I've shed Shed for us A world without you here Is a world not meant for me The crying skies Filling up the sea Harrowing view in my sight I'll keep this pain Keep it inside The loneliness that I will endure The ground is gone I drift into a void Turmoil inside to pull the cord My heart still beats for you I stay the course My heart still beats for you I stay the course I weep I'll stay the course

Hoping the grave Hasn't marked your name We belong We belong in each others arms Cold and empty world Without you by my side Its not just a loss But the end of our time The end of my heart Cower to the thought Of you being gone Guiding myself through the world How useless I would be I only care if you continue on So I fight back the tears Death won't take you from me We'll see it to the end Take my hand and watch the sun rise Open up your eyes and see me sitting here You mean more than the world So stay with me We are worse off than I thought Our time stripping away I'm not letting go of hope So just please just make it through Death won't take you from me We'll see it to the end Take my hand and watch the sun rise Open up your eyes and see me sitting here You mean more than the world So stay with me Nothing can take me from you Not god, nor fate will split us from the world Your the light within the darker space Hold me close to you to feel your heart Cower to the thought Of you being gone Dreading to see a bitter end Cower to the thought that you won't awake Horror to my breaking heart Shudder to the woe Shudder in the dark Woe Witness a woe A love that aches (won't fade) Woes won't fade Soaked in hope The pain of hope

The final rays of dusk Has graced the window pane A twilight of a somber sight torturing me All hope is fading fast I just want to be here To hold you through the dark To hold you through the night Remember better times Don't fear the fading light The planning for a burial Not for a grave Just hope you were waking up Just wish you'd stay To hold me through the dark To hold me through the night Remember better times Don't fear the fading light I feel completely lost Alone out in the lurch Remember golden times Accept a painful lie To hold me through the dark To hold you through the night Remember better times Don't fear the fading light Don't fear the fading light

Our special place Now is left alone Retreating there Grieving on my own A moments passed Forever gone Nothing ever lasts Turn to see A smile comfort me Only shadows Cover what I see No morning sun shines upon her hair No future plan I'll just disappear A face so sweet A kind and caring soul But out of reach Pulled away so far Wide awake Exhaustion clouds my thoughts Whispered prayers Though my faith is gone Give up hope Though its all I have A weakened state My strength lays inside you Tears all fall from your absent warmth The glow is gone Just shade and bitter cold No morning sun shines upon her hair No future plan I'll just disappear When mourning comes It taints all we touch Then mourning comes, it takes all

Farewell love Goodbye dreams My heart My life Death stronger than life Love stronger than death Clinging Words said Tears shed All quiet A last breath in the air Inhale it, hold it in Only pain left Your casket is blessed Stay in the dark, in the filth, in the cold In the bleak I stay with this pain Stay In the bed we laid Your impression Is all thats left All flowers sent to me Flowers scattered Placed in a vase, on your grave Wither away I await Shower in dirt, in our grave Await an end Tied to grief I await

about

This album is the first of a trilogy. "The Indifference of Time: I" is mostly rooted in doom/death metal and covers the beginning of the end for the protagonist with which the story will follow. Dealing with losing the one you love most is so extremely life altering (and life ending in some cases). Its even harder when you are watching it slowly happen over the coarse of days and struggling with denial, regret, and questioning selfishness verses selflessness while facing it.

This version is an extended version only on bandcamp with a reworked and updated version of "A Looming Shadow" (will show as the 4th track) and alternate artwork.
